I’m an Italian designer and artist currently based in Paris.
I've always been drawn by forms and objects that, through their abstractions, possess the ability to make us wonder, evoking mystery and activating our imagination - my main medium is clay, but I carry on research with other materials, including mirror and sto
Before language, we had forms, gestures, rituals, and symbols—ways through which we made sense of the world. Exploring form is a way of creating meaning before the need to explain it. The sculptural process becomes a representation of an idea, an intuition, or an emotion that—even when materialized—remains in the realm of abstraction. Yet, it continues to transmit a sense of truth.
Clay is my primary medium, offering a tactile and intuitive process through which forms gradually emerge. I also explore materials like mirror and stone, expanding my research across surfaces and textures. `
My process includes carving, scraping, and at times adding new material—allowing the form to surface through both subtraction and construction. In this layered unfolding, I feel a connection with archaeology and anthropology: practices that peel through layers of human history to uncover traces of meaning, ritual, and life.
Abstract sculpture—like myth—becomes a language of its own: open to interpretation, rich in symbolism, and connected to the human experience.
